We have to make a difference between those dedicated to golf and those, more general, in which golf only appeared from time to time.
In our countries, the first magazine was published by Daninos (the uncle of the well known writer) in 1914 under the name "Tennis et Golf".
During the 20's, appeared a outsider : "Le golf" later "Le golf et les golfeurs" and subtitled "Revue illustrée des golfs du continent" : clearly dedicated to golf in Continental Europe - even if mostly in France.
L'illustration (1933) : René Vincent
There are many different kinds of ephemera. We limit here to a few examples :
|Prints from Chagnon, Paris 1929|
